Moon Honey + Rareluth + Confetti + Pizza + Friends = Fun

Tonight was so much fun!

Jacob and I saw our favorite band for the first time since their farewell show in August of 2014. Since then, they've moved to California and found two new band members. Tonight was their first show in Lafayette since then.

The setting was a little unexpected; the show was Acadiana Open Channel inside the Post Office on Jefferson right down the street from our place. We walked across Cypress to get there, but some how we still managed to get lost for a moment.

It was really great to see Moon Honey again. Several friends of mine joined us. We had tons of confetti thrown over us, and I came home with a blank Lisa Frank thank you card.

Rareluth was really wonderful to see; I most enjoyed their choreography and theatrics.

For Moon Honey we were of course in the very front, right in front of the vocalist Jessica, and dancing the whole time. I almost fell onto the mike at one point when I lost my balance from dancing on my heels.

After we said our good byes to everyone, we went to Mellow Mushroom, where we had one of the hugest pizzas ever. Jacob's manager surprised us my comping all the food.

Really, tonight was just great! I'll illustrate it below with a lot of very silly screenshots and photos:

Here's a clip from Moon Honey's cover of "I Put a Spell on You":
