Today, I'm feeling satisfied with some of the projects Jacob and I have been working on together, but also nostalgic for some of the past projects I've been involved in. Aside from doing graphic design, photography, planning Art Walks at the gallery, and getting my Etsy shop up and running, I also like to model when I get the opportunity. I really enjoy the stillness that is involved in modeling. It requires you to be centered and calm, like in yoga, and offers a nice opportunity to sit in peace for a while. Aside from that, modeling is usually very fun and flattering. Sometimes I like to explore a different perspective and be the subject instead of the one in control of the image.
Here are a few photos from some of my favorite modeling jobs:
The last four images are actually from my best friend's short film, "What the Hour Hand Said to the Minute Hand", which you can watch on Vimeo here.
Last night, Jacob and I finished a cover of Bahama's "All the Time". You can listen to it on Soundcloud here. We haven't done very much recording together before, so recording this cover was a pretty new experience to me. We'll be trying to write more together soon!
