On October 19th, Dylan and I had our first experiences with underwater modeling. We were asked to participate in the photoshoot by our talented friend Kara Doney. We were in a 12-foot deep pool under lights with other models watching as we tried our best not to choke and drown after every pose. Kara stayed underwater in scuba gear during the shoot, mainly watching us doggie paddled while we caught our breath between poses. Honestly, this might have been the most adventurous thing I have ever done. It was much more difficult than I expected it to be, especially since I was trying to model with a partner. I'm not a particularly good swimmer either. It was a taxing shoot, but it was totally worth it for the experience and the images in the end. We are planning to practice modeling like this more using my Go Pro soon so we can be even better next time. I can't wait to do it again!
